Over the years some of our bespoke items have become standards within the entertainment business. We have developed various decking systems two of which are now available as off the shelf items. These are the heavy duty DEK & the lighter duty DEKEX

DEK is a new product based on years of designing touring stages and stage sets. It is an aluminum framed, stylish, heavy duty deck with cast corners into which a leg is fitted. All our decks are fitted with multi laminate 18mm birch plywood. Surface finishes are carpet, vinyl flooring or veneered. Simmons Dual Locks (aka coffin catches) are fitted as standard on all our deck systems as has been our policy for over 20 years. An M10 bolt retaining rail runs all around the perimeter of the deck allowing steps, handrails or other pieces of equipment to be rigidly fixed to the deck.

At the end of 2002 we developed this deck further by designing our new rolling stage system. The picture below shows a 120 deck system custom built as 6ft x 3ft decks for a Japanese client.

DEKEX was developed to provide stylish EXtra light, EXtremely quick, EXcellent value risers and stage decking. Dekex is quick & easy to set up. At only 40kg for an 8'x4' module, it is an ideal choice for schools, colleges, exhibitions and anywhere that needs a light strong stage decking solution.

DEKEX is fitted with multi laminate 18mm spruce plywood. Surface finishes are carpet, vinyl flooring or veneered. Simmons Dual Locks (aka coffin catches) are available as an optional extra. An M10 bolt retaining rail runs all around the perimeter of the deck allowing steps, handrails or other pieces of equipment to be rigidly fixed to the deck. DEKEX is compatible with the DEK system.
