Brilliant start fabrication of the Belinda King commissioned Celtic Heartbeat set for Cunards new ship the Queen Victoria. The set was designed by Stephen Howell & is one of 4 new shows. The Queen Victoria is due to go into service in November 2007
Oct 2007 October saw the completion of a 2 month build for the Ray Winkler (Mark Fisher Studios) & Kim Gavin designed Take That set. The set comprised a main rolling stage, with 2 technical bunkers which doubled as screamers, 2 off 6.1mtr x 1.5mtr travellators, 2 access scissor lifts, a 12.2 mtr diameter step through projection fan that emerged from & partitioned the stage, a 35mtr flown catwalk. & the multi hexagonal performance causeway.
Oct 2007 Following the success of the previous install PGT Entertainment order a second & larger stage system for The Radisson Seven Seas ship Mariner. The risers based on the light weight DEKEX system. The multi level platform featured stylish curved handrails & was fabricated in under a week to meet the tight deadlines.
July 2007 Brilliant install & commission another Yo Sushi conveyor. This time at Heathrow Airport. Immediately following this were 2 more commissions for Dublin & Nottingham.
June 2007 Work commences on the Genesis Arena shows - The brief for the Video Wall was to replicate the shape of the Stadium system within an arena environment without the use of StageCo’s steelwork. Brilliant also fabricated the High Resolution Rear Projection Screens & Roofette Ribs
May 2007 Genesis Stadium Set for the 'Turn It On Again' tour is set up in Brussels. The Genesis project for all at Brilliant was again the realization of a Mark Fisher design, the first sketches based on a conch shell. We combined all the skills and expertise gained from our previous stadium shows, such as U2, Rolling Stones and Robbie Williams. We worked hand in glove with the production team to design and build a set that had to withstand the rigors of a back to back European tour.

Band risers based on the light weight DEKEX system were commissioned by PGT Entertainment for the Radisson Seven Seas ship Navigator. The multi level platform featured stylish curved handrails to match the art deco theatre.

Emerald Princess - the newest addition to the Princess Cruises fleet set sail from Trieste with theatre sets built by Brilliant Stages including the new 'Boogie Shoes' with telescopic rises & conveyors,'Motor City' and major set pieces for their 'Welcome Aboard', What a Swell Party' & I've Got the Music' shows.

Brilliant start on new shows for Princess Cruises new ship the Emerald Princess. The sets are due to load on board at the end of spring & will ship with the Motor City set & show platform built at the end of 2006.

Rolling Stones want an even Bigger Bang so Brilliant were asked to supply 36 air cannons. The cannons fire 60ft long silk streamers in formation from the roof of the set in the climax to the show & then release then with an electromagnet kabuki type drop.

More new shows for Princess Cruises. Throughout the year Brilliant build new versions of the Welcome Aboard show & a new show - Motor City. These shows were a great success & have been installed on Grand Princess, Star Princess, Golden Princess, Island Princess, Coral Princess & the new ship Crown Princess. The Crown Princess also took delivery of Karen Bruce's Destination Anywhere show.

Brilliant continue fabrication of Sushi conveyor belts for Yo Sushi. Throughout 2006 we completed installations in Brompton Road, Bluewater, Victoria & Condor House.

The Brilliant built set for Karen Bruce's production 'Destination Anywhere' is installed on the Star Princess. The main feature of the show were the massive 12m wide x 5.3m high polycarbonate portals & doors.

Autumn 2005 Brilliant commission the sixth conveyer system this year for the Yo Sushi restaurant on Brompton road. The other installs this year were in Leeds, Brighton, Sedley Place, Kiffisia & Haymarket

Aug 2005 Production rehearsals for the Rolling Stones 'A Bigger Bang' 2005 tour started in Toronto at the end of July. Brilliant were contracted to supply the massive main stage lighting panels & the new 'gag' to get the band out into the arena. Opening night at the Boston Red Sox, Fenway stadium was a huge success.

Princess Cruises take delivery of their fourth 'Cinematastic' set, this time for the Golden Princess. Previous versions have been supplied for the main theatres of the Grand, Star & Sea Princess.

U2 Vertigo Tour 2005 kicks off in San Diego. The LED ball strings were deployed at the top of show, all seven curtains rolling out of the grid to their full 30 feet to reveal lighting and video effects never experienced before.

Aug 2004 August 13th 2004 saw the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens. The ceremony was watched by billions of people world wide and Brilliant Stages were proud to have been commissioned by Jack Morton Worldwide to produce some of the stunning show pieces.

May 2004 After being approached by the lighting and set designer Roy Bennett, Brilliant have just completed a contract to produce 4 “Turbo” roll drops for the current Paul McCartney tour.
Jan through May 2004 Throughout the first quarter of this year Brilliant have been building sets for 3 New Princess Cruises ships - Diamond Princess, Caribbean Princess & Sapphire Princess. Starting with a new show - 'Pianoman', designed by Tom Cluff followed by repeat sets of Karen Bruce's 'Let's Rock' & Joe Ragey's 'Curtain Up' we have now completed another new show Red Hot & Latin designed by Jeremy Railton, and another Pianoman.
March 2004 Brilliant commission new track in Yo Sushi's Poland Street flagship restaurant.
Feb 2004 Brilliant Stages and Tomcat UK have collaborated on a night club catwalk. It is being used for a scene in an action film a la Jean Claude van Damm.
Brilliant Stages were approached by the Set Designer to construct an elongated hexagonal catwalk using a clear polycarbonate surface, weld mesh sub frame and aluminium main frame. The outer face also had 70 recessed MR16 spot lights around the catwalk’s perimeter. With John Prentice doing workshop drawings over a weekend, Tomcat UK machining and fabricating the main frame, Brilliant Stages fitting the mesh and decks and installing in the night club, the whole job was achieved from start to finish in 10 days.

Glay (Japan) purchase the first of our new rolling stages based on our new Mk3 Deck system. Features of the 120 deck system include fast set up & good headroom with clear corridors in both directions underneath the stage.

Princess Cruises - another new ship, Coral Princess sailed with various sets built by Brilliant Stages. including Welcome Aboard, Lady Marmalade, tracking stairs for Voodoo Lounge and various other scenic elements and risers. We also along with Princess production staff designed & built a totally new set for a new show in the fabulous aft lounge. The superb high energy show 'Tribute' makes full use of the 3 split lifting revolves in the theatre. Another show 'Curtain Up' was designed by Joe Ragey engineered by Brilliant & built by Tomcat USA to meet the ship when she docks in Fort Lauderdale.

Kylie 'Fever' tour starts. Brilliant Stages custom manufactured lift is the centre of attraction as it opens the show with Kylie being revealed clad in her robot suit. The aluminium fabricated lift traveled from 0.5mtrs high below stage & lifted Kylie up to 4.28mtrs. The lift was later used as part of the Commonwealth Games ceremony
