Brilliant
Stages were commissioned to supply the stage set for Lionel Ritchie’s
2004 Autumn European Tour. We worked hand in glove with production
manager Charlie Boxhall and U.S Designer Chris Medvitz.
On stage were
regular risers apart from Lionel’s piano riser which tracked
down stage to end up parked over the custom built clear Perspex topped
thrust.
Over the stage
Chris had designed a ceiling 60’ across downstage tapering back
to 40’ upstage to look like a disused warehouse roof in perspective.
We achieved this by using a pin together aluminium grid and stretched
a distressed clear vinyl over the framework, very simple but effective.
